About Me

I am a Senior attending the University of Rochester, where I am pursuing my passion for mechanical engineering and design. I always loved building and playing with anything that moved. I enjoy working in dynamic, competive team environments. One of my dreams is to be a designer of exciting vehicles.

In addition to academics and swimming, I am currently the chief engineer on the UR Baja SAE Team. At UR Baja, we are tasked with designing, fabricating, and racing a one-seater endurance vehicle to compete at national events against other university teams. We apply academics and learn new skills in a dynamic, hands-on environment. I am currently developing my CAD and simulation skills with Siemens NX and SOLIDWORKS while contributing with my experience in SketchUp, MATLAB, and 3D printing. The team and I are currently working to optimize our car subsystems for performance and manufacturability.

University of Rochester Baja SAE

Chief Engineer

June 2023 - May 2024

I manage and coordinate with project team leaders on the design, validation, and manufacturing of the UR Baja SAE Team endurance vehicle, specially in critical paths. As an executive board member, I promote weekly meetings to discuss design, analysis, fabrication, project goals and deadlines.

Drivetrain Project Team Leader

Feb 2023 - June 2023

As Drivetrain Lead, I was responsible for the CAD design, FEM simulation, and real world validation of the drivetrain subsystem. Our vehicle uses a continuously variable transmission (CVT), double reduction gearbox, bevel gearbox, and a bought locking Hilliard differential to achieve 4WD.
